Were qualified for the Nehemiah program. We found a home and just found out that they accepted our offer of 135,000. Our agent notified us today that the title company is only willing to pay 3% and is telling us to come up with 1%. To my understanding Nehemiah covers the closing cost so why would we have to pay anything? The agent said the title company does not like to deal with Nehemiah. I am so confused.

I am in the process of buying my first real estate purchase (condo) and i was wondering what goes into closing cost and how do i estimate how much it will cost? I asked the seller to pay $2000 but not sure if that was enough.

Thanks for any help!

First time buyer.

Oh yeah, my condo cost $56000.

Ok,
My husband and I are in the works on trying to buy our first home-
We will be using a VA loan- first time using it.
The closing cost is one of our biggest problems as they can sum up quickly- we would like to know how we can avoid the closing cost and not have to pay them- by possibly having the seller paying…?

Any help would be appreciated…

The house was given to me for free. Now I’m finished repairing it and am going to change the title. What can I expect to pay for closing costs? The state is P.A. No loans, sales price is $0.00.
